These colorful sisters were created with the use of watercolors marker and ink. The creation of this art piece was influenced by the rich, colorful textures and clothing styles of Africa and the beautiful multi-shaded African American women of the U.S. The artist also captures the details and popular cornrow braids of African American women. The subject depicted in green is the artist's sister.
