Nia's Flowers is a fun-hearted, breathtakingly beautiful acrylic and ink painting. The subject, Nia, is the artist's youngest daughter at age nine. The subject's tribal marks and cornrowed Bantu knots are influences from Africa and are detailed down to the roots. The young girl is partially framed by Easter lilies to show the innocence of springtime, while her eyes draw you into the center of the piece.
